Trans Awareness Week 2023

It's Transgender Awareness Week.

I am a queer non-binary transgender woman.

I am on the autism spectrum / neurodivergent.

I am an individual just like anyone else.

We are all different.

Being different isn't an indicator of who's good vs who's evil.

There's people in this world who are friendly ( some even misunderstood ) while others are bullies who don't care.

That has nothing to do with biological differences. That's about who has authoritarian hierarchical power over others vs those who are oppressed by such bullying.

Same goes with anyone who isn't Transgender. Transgender isn't the problem. It's only a difference and that is all.

To Hell with the hate ! Let's have peace instead and celebrate life together !

Of course, I am not denying the current problems in this world when it comes to literal hate crime, especially those caused by the far-right. I am not denying the problems of people not understanding us and siding with misinformation as truth. I am not denying the problems of economic inequality either.

Instead of people fearing Transgender people, perhaps they need to educate themselves about Transgender people with proper information.

Here's some recommended resources that I know of.

TRANS LIVES MATTER !

_ Erica

#translivesmatter #trans #transgender #lgbtq #pride #transrights #transawareness #transgenderawareness

It's " Coming Out Day ", and this year is an anniversary for me.

I've been out as "Non-Binary" for 15 years and "Transgender / Trans Woman" for 10 years.

And I'm still learning about the LGBTQ+ part of myself. I don't find it complicated at all.

I think life is partially about learning about yourself as well as the world around you.

Life itself isn't one choice or the other, it's what one resinates with best. Always listen to your heart and soul. Never ever allow fear to stop you from being who you are.

Especially if you lived a life that deserved more happiness and peace.

And of course, it's not always easy. Hate crime happens all the time. :( IT SUCKS !

I'm not talking about censoring freedom of speech and expression,  I'm literally talking about bullying and WORSE !

A philosophy that I still believe is that despite biological / cultural differences, all people are equal because they just want a happy, peaceful and prosperous life.

It's often power over someone else's positive freedom that tends to be the root causes of problems philosophically for the most part.

LGBTQ+ LIVES MATTER !

_ Erica

P.S. Happy early Pride 2024. ;)

Transphobia & any other hate crime is not only evil & cruel bullying, it's stupid. Right wing politics are just like right wing religions, it's worship of hate, fear & authoritarian hierarchical power over others. Despite differences, we all just want peace & freedom ! 🌎☮️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 #translivesmatter

International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia & Transphobia 2023 message by Erica Crooks

It's International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia & Transphobia ( including non-binary, etc ). Might as well include all marginalized people. Especially when there are LGBTQ+ who are as well. I'm a non-binary, autistic / neurodivergent transgender lesbian woman.

And when it comes to fighting against hate crime, this unfortunately includes inside LGBTQ+ pride communities as well.

LGBTQ+ and any marginalized people, they have the same problems white cishet men do.

Narcissists can be anywhere.

Despite biological / cultural differences, we all generally want the same thing.

The world needs love, but we live in a world of hate, fear, sadness & pain.

We all want a life of our desires. We all want nothing but good in life.

We want freedom & peace.

If everyone in the world came to that realization, we can finally have world peace. Life would be simple, not complex with authoritarian hierarchical power systems including capitalism, etc.

As we all know, for now, we only got one planet and we are all sharing it together.

PEACE !

_ Erica

15 years coming out as a Nonbinary Transgender Lesbian Woman ( Erica Crooks )

I've became aware of myself for 15 years total so far. I first came out as Androgyne in late 2007 / 2008 at a time where most people weren't aware of Nonbinary & today many people identify as Nonbinary. The internet was there for me in my self-growth and awareness journey. Becoming aware of myself but having trouble finding the right words & definition. So as a content creator , the other thing that I do is to help bring awareness about the very information that helped me with my self-growth , self-esteem / self-confident / self-love and helped me become more of me than ever before. However through out 2008 - 2013 , I knew I was attracted to female body masculinity ( Butch Lesbians ) and there was that feminine aspect of myself which I struggled to figured out what that meant until I came out as a Transgender Woman near the start of 2013. I was a Lesbian, just Transgender. I struggled looking at myself in the mirror smiling until after I came out.

At the same time, I know exactly how it feels to struggle if it's with my kind hearted mother in poverty surviving on disability income , diagnosed as Neurodivergent / Autism Spectrum / PTSD / ADD / ADHD / Depression / Social Anxiety / Anxiety related & being a victim of hate crime of all sorts all through my life online & offline. Including running away from an abusive, bigoted father & wicked step mother which my mother saved me from taking my life away. It cost me most of my belongings but it was either my stuff or my life, I choose life.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE ! Perhaps I'm not either. _ Erica ( she / her )

Transphobic Comedians and Problematic Comedy & Humor ( a blog video by Transgender Lesbian Woman Satirical Comedy Filmmaker " Erica Crooks " )

Transphobic Comedians and Problematic Comedy & Humor ( a blog video by Transgender Lesbian Woman Satirical Comedy Filmmaker " Erica Crooks " )

Ok Boomer ! Ok Generation X ! Well actually , NO ! NOT OK !

Comedians such as Ricky Gervais & Dave Chappelle received controversy over Transphobic remarks during their Stand Up Comedy Routine Specials as seen on the streaming platform " Netflix " .

Many people are still unfortunately puzzled and confused when it comes to what Transgender rights mean. Many even expressed Transphobia out of their ignorance & fear due to misinformation.

Unfortunately people like J.K. Rowling would rather promote Authoritarian misinformation of hate & fear and enjoy their wealth than taking time to learn what they personally can relate to in their individual life experience.

Through out the history of comedy, Transphobia has unfortunately been around.

From Monty Python's Lumberjack song https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lumberjack_Song to The Muppets https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/Pachalafaka .

Sometimes such irreverent humor can also be expression of character comedy, many times such characters are accepted by other characters.

 https://superjail.fandom.com/wiki/Alice

While other times, not so much which makes things even more questionable if it's Hate Speech or not regarding it's context, how characters & everything is presented, etc.

As for the Transphobia controversies on Netflix, perhaps a certain " Pro-Transgender Awareness " Netflix movie needs to move to Paramount+ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocko%27s_Modern_Life:_Static_Cling .

Ben Shapiro's Questionable love for Disney & Animation ( Challenged by Transgender Cartoonist )

Ben Shapiro's Questionable love for Disney & Animation ( Challenged by Transgender Cartoonist )

In late March 2022 , it was announced that Far-Right Pundit " Ben Shapiro " will take his media company " The Daily Wire " ( which already hosts his program " The Ben Shapiro Show " among others as well as films such as Shut In (2022 ) , and invest $100 Million in " Kids' Content ".

Ben Shapiro expressed his love of Disney movies in his childhood as well as the Disney theme parks. The irony is so did someone else except he was left leaning and unlike Ben Shapiro, he was an artist who's work was loved globally & continues to be loved to this very day " Jim Henson " .

Unlike Jim Henson who put doing good art work to make humanity a better place , Ben Shapiro's investment into being " THE NEXT WALT DISNEY " ( assuming it's animation but could go beyond ) , isn't for the sake of reviving quality " FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT " which can be enjoyed by a general audience ( which aspects of that such as satire and art reflecting on life IS A LEFT LEANING THING POLITICALLY ) , instead Ben Shapiro's investment is surely for the sake of greed, hate & fear.

The point being made is Ben Shapiro doesn't give a damn about what he loved in childhood. His voice may have potential in voice acting but but course it would require him to give up right leaning politics, that is if he was truly honest about following his heart filled dreams.

But no, BEN SHAPIRO IS NO JIM HENSON ! Ben Shapiro is a hateful, cruel, Authoritarian, which like any right leaning person, especially White CisHet Men of wealthy income such as himself HATES those that differ from him ! Ben Shapiro is a bigot ! Ben Shapiro HATES LGBTQ+ people and that's why he's investing into all of this. :( Out of HATE & FEAR propaganda ! A devil in human's skin indeed.

Meanwhile LGBTQ+ and allies alike are protesting against The Walt Disney Company investing money into Anti-LGBTQ+ bills that hurt LGBTQ+ & Transgender Teens, Kids, Friends, Families & Allies alike.

What Woke Disney ?

Nonbinary Androgynous Femme Transgender Lesbian Woman , Independent Filmmaker, Satirical Puppeteer / Cartoon Animator & Ben Shapiro impersonator " Erica Crooks " applies political commentary and philosophy regarding this discussion over creativity and human rights.

Rocko's Modern Life : Static Cling is Transgender Friendly :)

Rocko's Modern Life Static Cling is a must see for Rocko fans and even Trans Rocko fans ( I'm both :) ) I just seen Rocko's Modern Life Static Cling , it's perfect for both big time fans and even Trans Fans. I want to thank Joe Murray and his crew for making it happen as well as making a positive statement on Trans Equality. _ Erica #rockosmodernlife #translivesmatter #wontbeerased #trans #transgender #lgbt #lgbtq #netflix #glaad #transgenderequality

Rocko's Modern Life : Static Cling ( Netflix ) is going to be Transgender Friendly

Static Cling is coming out tomorrow and I found out that Rachel Bighead came out as Trans . As a Transgender Woman and a cartoon animator myself as well as a huge fan of Rocko's Modern Life , this is like a happy surprise to see one of my heroes become a trans ally like this. I can't think of anyone who did this so far. :) My favorite episodes ironically are I Have No Son and Wacky Deli , and I can relate to having a childhood relating to the authoritarian Bigheads and wanting to make a cartoon to humiliate them through satire. Perhaps it's a big close to home but I heard that Joe Murray worked with GLAAD so it sounds like it's going to be complimentary. So to the crew I say thank you for being Trans allies . :) _ Erica

I'm a INFP Trans Woman Lesbian Anarchist Lightworker

I'm a INFP Trans Woman Lesbian Anarchist Lightworker and I know that I differ from this hierarchical society which seems like extroverted sensors are the majority. I know what it's like being a social outcast . I know what it's like being socially rejected . I know what it's like to have a horrible father and a wicked step mother , and ex-friends who are antisocial narcissistic cyberbullies freaking me out so much to the point of having PTSD . But I'm still here , I'm still standing . If you have had a similar experience in this crazy world , your not alone.

I know that people will hate me because I'm different. But I like me and that's the best thing I know about and being , is me. And vise versa you as well.
