Sneaky cartoon villain
Sneaky villain lurking in the shadows! 🕵️♂️
This cartoon character design art is a parodic nod to classic noir / gangster hollywood tropes (as well as from cartoons from The Golden Age of Animation with influence from Ren & Stimpy, Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera, etc ).
Dive into this satirical art timelapse where cartoonist Erica Crooks transforms a tiny pumpkin into a grotesque caricature of Donald Trump – no holds barred! 🎃🎨 Inspired by satirical counterculture cartoon comedy vibe icons like Mad Magazine, Spitting Image, Underground Comix, wild and weird 90s cartoons (think Ren & Stimpy or Rocko's Modern Life), this piece blends political satire with nostalgic, edgy cartoon character design.
Perfect for fans of weird art, political cartoons, and indie comedy who crave that grotesque, anti-establishment vibe. If you love satirical art that pokes fun at power with a twisted sense of humor, this is your jam!

Here is a cartoon character art that I drew last year.
Looks like they have some sort of sidekick job and made some kind of mistake, telling by their nervous smile. I wonder what they’ve been up to wearing that coat or perhaps that’s just their style.
In recent years, I’ve been experimenting with traditional illustration. In this example, colored pencils and pen ink.
Even though technology is great for art, there’s also something interesting about the traditional drawing organic feel.
